GOOD WOMEN

SAVE TO SERVE (PART 2)

From the last exposition on this topic in May, we looked at some women of faith who made history in their generation from their services to God and fellowmen. They are worthy to emulate.

1.            You can be Miriam of our time: A prophetess who led other women in praises and worship to God for delivering them from the hand of Pharaoh and his army. Ex. 15:21.

2.            You can also be the present day Deborah. The wife of Lapidoth who went with Barak fighting Sisera the captain of host Canaan and got the deliverance for Israel from their oppressors – Judges 4:14-15. Another woman called Jael who finished the battle by killing Sisera – Judges 4:22-24.

3.            You can be Ruth of our time by encouraging and helping the aged, lonely, depressed and helpless like Naomi – Ruth 1:16-17.

4.            You can be like a Priscilla, who worked closely with her spouse to win souls to the Kingdom of God – Rom 16:3-4.

5.            You can be serving the church of God in various ways just as Phebe did – Rom. 16:1-2

6.            You can be like Dorcas giving liberally to God and man – Acts 9:35.

7.            You can be like Lydia of our time; giving hospitable to the people of God. – Acts 16

8.            You can be a Martha, preparing nourishing and refreshing meals to the representatives of Christ on earth. Luke 10:40

Dear co-pilgrims, do not be idle. If truly you have be saved tell others about Jesus. Serve in whatever capacity you are called to – Luke 19:13.

GOOD WOMEN

PSALM 91 CONTINUED

Glory be to God of Mercy and Grace who has granted us our lives and the grace to see the second month of the year 2017, HALLELUYAH! As children of God, dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, we are expected to serve Him faithfully and conscientiously this year.

According to IPeter 5:7 God wants us to turn over our cares, worries and anxieties over to Him because He cares for us. However, He demands from us simple childlike faith and assurance of His promises.

God wants to bless you abundantly, in fact. He has already willed you His peace (John 14:27, Psalm 91). He also gives assurance of unlimited protection on and around you every time. He is always looking for ways to reach you and bless you with His Love so that you will have access to His blessings. So sisters, trust Him; obey His commandment; serve Him faithfully and lean on Him; He will not fail you.

“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages world without end. AMEN!!!
